I have been sculpting and creating things since I was in my early twenties so nigh on 20yrs now!! Always as a hobby I started with salt dough which is a fantastic medium, and cheap to make with, id make Christmas wreaths for the door and Christmas decorations for the tree but the more advanced I got with my sculptures the more I realised that salt dough had limitations and I needed a different medium to work with.

I discovered Polymer clay and things really started to improve! I started by making trinket boxes for my little girl and I made one for a friends birthday, then someone asked me for a birthday cake topper for her little girls 4th birthday and I make her a little "Dora the Explorer" topper and everyone loved it. Then, it was a natural progression to other cake toppers and my passion of Bride and Groom cake toppers!

I love sculpting things!!! To start with a lump of shapeless clay and watch as it is transformed into a little piece of art for someone always amazes me and excites me every time I start to do one. I put a lot of time, love and concentration into each one I do and I am always very proud of the finished result. I admit I am a bit of a perfectionist I have been known to almost finish a topper only to not be happy, throw it away and start from scratch again, I want to make sure that I can look at the finished result and be 100% satisfied with it before it is sent out to my customer. You want your day to be as perfect and as happy as you can imagine and my topper is a little detail of that day that I want you to keep, make you and your guests smile and laugh and you can look back on it with fantastic memories.

My customers imagination inspires me, the more imaginative a topper may be the more I revel in the challenge of pushing myself and exceeding my own limits, meeting their expectations and creating the best result I can. Customer feedback is extremely important to me and always gives me a great feeling knowing how pleased they are with their toppers.
